Aconteceu nesta quinta (14) a premiação iHeartRadio Music Awards 2019 em Los Angeles, Califórnia. Além de grandes artistas e cantores presentes, a noite contou com shows de Ariana Grande, Halsey com YUNGBLUD, prêmios e muito mais!
Taylor Swift
Para começar, Taylor Swift foi homenageadas com o prêmio de “Turnê do Ano” com a “reputation stadium tour” e não esperaríamos menos. Com base para se tornar a turnê feminina da década, Taylor conquistou vários recordes com a turnê. Ao todo foram 53 shows em quatro continentes e o faturamento final da turnê deverá ultrapassaram os 340 milhões de dólares. No discurso, Taylor contou que viu muitos comentários negativos falando sua turnê seria um fracasso, mas os fãs não deixaram isso acontecer.

Essa gosta de surpreender os fãs, hein! Ariana Grande cantou “Needy”, faixa de seu último álbum “thank u, next” e a escolha foi por ser uma das favoritas entre os seus fãs. Um anjinho mesmo, né?
Em uma numa apresentação bem intimista e sensível, mostrando o poder dos seus vocais, Ari conseguiu mostrar um pouquinho do que está por vir na ‘sweetener/thank u, next Tour’, que está com data marcada para começar na semana que vem!

Lembrando que, Ariana levou para casa o prêmio de ‘Artista do Ano’ e ‘Álbum Pop Favorito’ com ‘sweetener’.
Halsey
Chegou a vez de falarmos sobre Halsey. Para abrir a noite da premiação, a cantora subiu ao palco com “Without Me” e “11 Minutes”, sua parceria com YUNGBLUD e Travis Barker. Ela começa em cima de um carro, igual ao clipe de “11 Minutes”.
Halsey também foi homenageada com o “Fangirl Award”, categoria que reconhece uma artista feminina que quebra barreiras com sua música e que traz uma mensagem inspiradora aos fãs ao redor do mundo. Fofo!
“Parece realmente apropriado que o nome desse prêmio seja ‘Fangirl’. Eu acho que a palavra ‘Fangirl’, por um longo tempo, tem sido usada em um sentido bem depreciativo. Eu acho que se uma jovem mulher gosta de algo, então aos olhos do resto do mundo isso se torna estúpido, ou se torna sem importância ou inválido. Mas como uma ex-‘fangirl’ e agora uma pessoa sortuda o suficiente para ter seus próprios fãs, eu sei que é exatamente o contrário na verdade.
E eu assisti meus fãs e eu já fui parte de ‘fandoms’ e eu vi as pessoas, eu as vi serem motivadas, apaixonadas e determinadas sobre algo. Em um tempo que é tão necessário ter sentimento, ter empatia, então quando eu vejo uma garota fã, um garoto fã ou um fã qualquer um, eu vejo uma pessoa que é capaz de sentir, capaz de fazer mudanças e isso significa muito pra mim, então muito obrigada.”

A cachorrinha de Lauren Jauregui, Gracie, levou para casa o prêmio de animal de estimação mais fofo de um artista. Mas, infelizmente, ela veio a falecer na mesma noite. A cantora publicou um vídeo agradecendo e escreveu:
“Parabéns a minha fofa, mais adorável animal de estimação. Obrigada ao iHeartAwards e a vocês fãs incríveis por amarem Gracie como nós amamos. Eu adiei escrever isso ou até mesmo pensar sobre, mas sinto que não há dia melhor do que hoje para celebrar a vida exuberante da minha pequena Gracie. Digo isso com o coração pesado, mais do que você possa imaginar. Nosso anjo foi tirado de nós incrivelmente cedo dias atrás devido a um acidente que causou complicações respiratórias.
Mal posso expressar como o coração está partido, nem a alegria que este pequeno ser de luz trouxe à minha vida por um curto tempo, mas maravilhosamente abundante que tivemos juntas neste mundo. Nunca esquecerei a maneira como ela me olhava. Meu coração pede por ela lambendo meu rosto novamente, mas sei que sua essência estará comigo para sempre. Agradeço seu respeito e amor durante este período de luto profundo. Obrigada por todos os votos ao meu para sempre anjo, Gracie, sempre amarei você minha pequena ‘mami’”.
